Approved by Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, Shanghai East Best & Lansheng International (Group) Co., Ltd. (briefed as East Best & Lansheng Group or the Group) was established on December 11th, 2013 as a mega state-owned enterprise specializing in the modern service industry in the wake of the reorganization of Shanghai East Best International (Group) Co., Ltd. and the Shanghai Lansheng Group Co., Ltd.
The core businesses of East Best & Lansheng Group are human resources, exhibition & communication, modern trade and property development. In 2014, the Group’s business revenues were recorded at 108.3 billion yuan with a year-on-year growth rate of 14.3%. Shanghai Foreign Service Co., Ltd. (SFSC), the Group’s subsidiary engaged in the HR business, has opened 20 regional companies in several different provinces with 387 service outlets and a headcount over 1.39 million, topping the list of the nation’s HR services for eight years in a row since 2007. As for convention and exhibition business, the Group has constructed many integrated exhibition venues like the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center and they have undertaken a series of well-known exhibitions such as CIIF, CSITF, ECF and APPPEXPO. In 2014, the Group successfully held 44 exhibition/convention events with a total exhibition area of 883,000 m2. The Group has been taking a leading role among local state-owned foreign trade groups in terms of trade business; the Group’s foreign trade volume reached US$4.8 billion in 2014 with a growth rate much higher than both the nation’s and the city’s. It also boasts China’s first listed foreign trade company-Shanghai Lansheng Corporation.
The Group proactively took part in the preparation for the Shanghai World Expo 2010. After the Expo 2010, the Group financed and participated in the construction of the Nation’s Center for Exhibition and Convention (NCEC) in HONGQIAO CBD, a nationally significant project co-invested by the Ministry of Commerce and Shanghai Municipal Government mostly completed in 2014. Covering a total construction area of 1.47 million m2 and an exhibition area of 500,000m2, NCEC becomes the world’s argest single building and exhibition center.
The Group is also keen on the development of sports industry. In 2014, Shanghai East Best & Lansheng Event Management Co., Ltd. was established for running the Shanghai International Marathon. The complete success of the event has won the Group the Gold Road Race from IAAF and the Gold Medal Race from the Chinese Athletics Association respectively. The Group has also founded the Women’s Volleyball Club in Shanghai and is also the title sponsor and operator of Shanghai Women’s volleyball team which received the 2014 Chinese women’s volleyball championship and 2014-2015 National Volleyball League runner-up. On February 9th, 2014, the Group staged the Eastbest Double Bridge Competition in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. The event was joined by over 2,000 players, breaking the Guinness World Record as the largest bridge competition ever.

- Hongqiao International Trade Forum
- The forum will be jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and Shanghai municipal government in cooperation with some international organizations. Heads and ministers of participating countries, leaders of international organizations, and top executives of world renowned companies and multi-national corporations will be invited.
China International Import Expo (CIIE) to be held at National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai on 5 Nov. 2018 is among key strategic arrangements and initiatives China has mapped out to drive the new round of open-up. It is the first 6x365 trade fair. The role of Shanghai is to give forceful and well-organized support, build a one-stop import trade and service platform and assure the first CIIE a success.
Donghao Lansheng Group based in Shanghai formed a wholly-funded subsidiary, DLG Import Commodities Center (the Center), with registered capital of RMB 50 million, at 1099 Guozhan Road, Pudong New District (within the Free Trade Zone) in July 2017 in order to give full-fledged support to, take an active part in and serve CIIE. The main premise of the Center is situated on the third floor (GFA of 9488.88 sqm) of the commercial complex of National Exhibition and Convention Center. The Center will host exhibitions and trade fairs of imported health products including medical, nursing and health products, exercise equipment, sports accessories, intelligent commodities, high-quality imported food, and special products of countries along the Belt and Road and provide comprehensive trade agent services. With the exhibition and sales platform of CIIE available all year long, importers will enjoy one-stop services of greater convenience and higher quality.
In the meantime, the Center will base in Shanghai, eye to build import direct-marketing platforms in some provincial capital cities, form a country-wide sales network, promote high-quality products imported from countries along the Belt and Road and aim to bring into being an exhibition and sales platform that aggregates imported high-quality health resources along the Belt and Road within five years.
